This is a downhill wheel designed for speed and brute force annihilation of the laws of physics.
80mm diameter generates high roll speeds but a width of 56 mm allows for traction balance and responsive slide. The outer lip is cantilevered with a straight profile, which means it will dig and hug road like a blanket, give you grip. You can expect predictable drifts with the design of a shorter inner lip with an inward bevel.
A fully-exposed 46mm core with a deep “valley”-shaped cross section reduces weight while providing good acceleration, lots of momentum, and crisp slides. This core uses the same high-strength, high-stiffness, and heat-resistant material we developed and use in the entire Orangatang product line.
The Kegel is poured in the Orangatang Happy urethane formula. It is the same urethane used in the In Heat and 4President race wheels.
The summary is a wheel that will grip with you need it but release a buttery slide consistency. Ideal for esk8, LDP, downhill, hill bombing and making your friends look slow.
