Progressive skating, is that what we are calling it? Or an all round board? The one board quiver?
There is a lot to like about this deck, and at Hopkin, we think it is the most under rated deck in the Landyachtz line up. Skaters are loving this deck, and so much so that LY have created a hollowtech version in 2017!
The first thing you notice when you step on this deck is the deep tub style concave. It it comfortable, plenty of room, you don't feel you have to skate it a specific way for your feet have to be locked in one spot.
It is the only Landy board with flush mounting. This means the trucks are top mounted but mounted in two cuts out on the bottom of the deck. Just provides a little bit of lowering, some extra stability, easier to push around. Wheel wells for bigger wheels, and also to let skateboards know this is a longboard and not an oversize skateboard.
So right now you are thinking, this board going to great for pushing, commuting, a bit of downhill, freeriding.
There are twin kicks, it is symmetrical, and now you can freestyle up your push commute. Kick up and down curbs, bust out a shuvit to impressive whoever. What can't this deck do?
It really is the one deck to rule them all. The quiet achiever. Just don't tell anyone, its our secret.
