The Tesseract is top mounted, with multiple wheel options so you can choose tight turny or stability.
Length: 39” or 99 cm
Width: 9.5” or 24 cm
Wheelbase: 24.5” and 26” or 62.2 cm and 66 cm
Rocker: 0.33” or 0.84 cm
Wedging angle: 3.5°
Weight: 2.2 kg (with grip)
Shape is symmetrical and classic top mount - wide at the waist and skinner at the tails.
It has almost a 1cm of rocker from front to back. It helps with your tuck, your back foot has something to push against and your front foot has something to push against, so your tuck will be locked in for high speeds. It also helps lower your centre of gravity and increases stability. The outer edges of the rocker grip your feet and you get a gentle lock in when sliding.
There is a nice W concave that tapers off towards the bolts. It does run in to the wheel flares and creates a pocket for toe side checks and locks in your front foot for heelside checks.
Twin kicks that give you enough pop for ollies.
Construction is dual vertically laminated core, with a fibreglass on the top and bottom. There is also a cork layer on the bottom which adds vibration dampening.
This board is designed for big hills, high speeds and snappy slides but is just as good in the city perking lofty ollies over gutters or impressive blunt slides on the footpath.
The design and particualarly the 3.5° wedging angle works best with a low degree angle truck such as the Paris 180mm with 43 degree baseplate or Grizzly 840 or Aeon 45 or 30 degree or Paris Savant 43 degree. Using one of these trucks you get lean and turn with a low ride height.
If you will be doing technical sh!t or cruising the city ollie'in over homeless people then use a smaller wheel like Fat Free or The Keanu.
Use the Kilmer, Cage or Morongas for fast freeriding.
For downhill: 4Presidents for fast takeoff, inHeat for big roll speed and Kegel for total domination. The bigger the wheel the more risers you will need. We add those for free when you buy a complete, so don't worry we would not ship you a board with wheel bite
