Korey Kamp skating Mt Cootha
Words by Max:
"I've found it incredibly difficult to describe this picture. It’s always been pretty damn special but it now holds a different value to me than ever before. Korey is one of my favourite skateboarders, a cherished friend and the most positive of humans who, through no fault of his own is currently incapable of riding. I didn’t nail this shot (despite how great Koz makes it look) but I remain hopeful that one day I can photograph Koz again, at this hill, for Olympic preparations.
This place is special, Korey is special and whilst the photo is incomplete it stays true as a beacon of hope for the future."
