Shannon Tully inside line at Col D'Izoard
A photographer on location is a juggler. They are balancing light, subject and landscape. There are angles that give meaning. A downhill photographer is dealing with multiple subjects. Add the pressure of this is a one time opportunity: Is this the last run? Will it rain tomorrow? Are we leaving this mountain?
Getting this shot is a small miracle. Everything in one picture: amazing mountains, a hairpin, flow of the road and someone going standup through it!
For a downhill skater, this is Europe in one photo. Buy this print to remember or to dream of European days to come.
