Add transitions lenses? *
Transition lenses are the lenses that darken in the sunlight and lighten in softer light or the dark. They offer both style and convenience, and can help protect your eyes from UV. Our lenses use genuine Transitions technology.
What colour transitions lenses would you like? *
Would you like to add Blue Shield Technology? *
Blue shield technology includes a blue light blocker to reduce exposure to potentially harmful light from extended periods using electronic devices like phones, tablets and laptops. It also includes an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare and increase the amount of visible light passing through the lens. Plus toughened surfaces reduce the amount and effect of scratches.

Want to add UV 400 protection? *
UV400' refers to UV rays at the top end of the UV spectrum, up to the 400-nanometre wavelength. Sunglasses with this level of protection block an even wider spectrum than the CE and British Standard models, making them the ultimate protection for your eyes.

Prism Monolith longboard deck

Classic downhill top mount.

We could finish the description with just those words, because the world is divided into two. Skaters looking for a classic top mount, and skaters who arn't. A classic top mount is the V8 muscle car of the longboard world. Simple, effective, powerful and a symbol of your manhood or womanhood. If you are looking for a Ferrari, then tippy toe off to your precious Hindsight

This type of top mount is for the purists. They want to feel the every bump in the road, a downhill run should be raw and full of adrenaline. Sliding through corners is filled with peril, and at the end of the run, you call your mum to tell her your ok.

Prism tell us:

A throwback to some of our favourite rockered topmounts, the Monolith combines a large front to back taper with a mild rocker that keeps the board comfortable to tuck on and easy to steer. We pulled in the wheelbase and width to make it nimble and keep the board’s edges underfoot. Built with 1/4" rocker, 8 layers of maple, and a layer of formica on top.

We would add that this board is a great size. A lot of classic top mounts are big and surfy. And there is nothing wrong with that, but it is nice to have a smaller top mount that is easy to throw around and to dodge through traffic. That is tight runs with the bois not tight runs between cars!

What separates Prism from a lot of other brands is the construction. We are a huge fan of formica, we have carried a lot of skateboards and slalom boards that have used formica. It is tough, and stiff and really wears well, keeps the board looking new.

Check this one out, it really is a fun board to skate. It is wide, easy to move your feet around, concave is easy like Sunday morning, and the rocker is there to make your life better not as a gimmick.

Is it a surfboard?
The hidden customer that likes this board is the surfer. They look at this board and immediately recognise the design cues. Surf and Skate have been stealing ideas and culture of each other since the 60s! This deck is a surfboard. Set it up with standard longboard trucks like Caliber 50s or Gullwing Reverse, some grippy 72mm wheels and you will be slashing, carving and cruising to check the waves.
This is a great board to have set up, tucked away in the corner of your car boot, ready to go when you are inspired by some fresh concrete!
