James Hopkin's latest project: The Hop Podcast has launched.
I have created a podcast based around all the interesting people I meet in my skateboard and longboard journey. One of my passions is downhill skateboard racing, so there will be a lot of content about that subject, but it wont all be downhill. There are lessons to be learned from a wide range of people: skaters, brands, business people, marketers, event organisers.
You want to subscribe for the stories. Essentially I love telling stories, anyone that knows me will tell you I have a story for every topic. Life is about having fun. I started my skateshop in 2006, we founded the Australian Skateboard Association (ASRA) in 2007, I was involved in the first World Cup skateboard race in Australia (Newtons) in 2008. It has been an amazing journey the last 11 years, and I have only just started!
One of the great things about my skateboard life is the people I meet. They range from skaters, entrepreneurs, downhill racers, event organisers, OG skateboarders and many more. It is this network of friends I will be tapping into to for interviews. There will also be a huge amount of entertaining stories from past and present.
The podcast is live in iTunes here or search for "James Hopkin Podcast" on your favourite podcast player. If you want to listen before you subscribe, you can just into any of the episodes below.
