Why do you need this steel in your life?
The cup washer edge grips your bushing like snot grips a doorknob. It actually stiffens the bushing. So if you have soft bushing, it will make it firmer. The job of the bushing is to deform, allowing your trucks to turn. The cupped washer stiffens the bushing. The effect is a snap return to centre. This is sweet juice for LDP skaters, eskaters and general longboarding. Getting that snappy return on your bushing is like a pump fuel.
