A special release of the Pantheon Trip. Bottom layer is carbon with the Indian Hills graphic printed over the top. The shape is exactly the same as the current Pantheon Trip, the carbon does not add any other qualities other than aesthetic.
The Trip is a Pantheon design, and a versatile and easy-to-ride board for distance, fitness, and freeride skating, it is is perfect for high-level athletes and casual riders alike. A super fun board that suits everyone.
CURVACEOUS CONFIDENCE – Pantheon’s highly functional crescent drop lowers the centre of gravity and stiffens the drops for efficient pushing while also providing enhanced lateral support and general ergonomics. The drop also allows for effortless slide initiation to control speed in common settings like hilly urban environments or paths and trails. Moustache rocker profile combines subtle camber at the deck’s midpoint with rocker under the feet. The localised camber pairs with the slightly tapered waist to provide suspension characteristics while allowing the rest of the board to remain stiff for optimum control. Mellow radial concave provides an ideal balance of edge control and riding comfort. The junctions between concave and crescent drop create three-dimensional pockets for secure and intuitive ergonomics.
FUNCTIONAL DESIGN– The Trip’s outline shape is cut to maximise usable surface area and minimise the chance of wheelbite. A slightly tapered waist complements the camber profile for a subtle suspension effect. The open-ended nose and tail provide flexural relief, protection against impact damage, and ease of assembly. Neutral truck mounting angles simplify setup while offering a versatile starting point for customisation.
SNAPPY, LIGHT, & LOW– The Trip is a low riding steeze machine that is efficient and effective for all of your commuting and distance riding needs. A 6-ply maple core is sandwiched between layers of triaxial fiberglass with a protective wood veneer on the bottom so that you don’t scratch that structural composite layer on curbs. This layup results in a thin, stiff, and lightweight structure with snappy, responsive flex characteristics. Combine with large, soft wheels like the 86mm McFly, and you’ve got an absolute cruising machine that will suck up road vibrations and keep you going all day long.
SET UPS– The Pantheon favourite complete consists of150mm Paris trucks in the 50/43 configuration and 92mm Karma wheels. This puts a high degree turning truck in front, and a slightly lower degree in back for increased stability, and it does so pretty much bite free. You MAY be able to force static bite (depending on bushing setup and weight) but it would be extremely difficult to get wheelbite going any faster than 8kmph. This is ideal if you’re going to be riding your Trip fast and especially on hills. For lower speeds and a smaller turning radius, choose the 50/50 options. For a more fun carve and push set up choose 50/50 trucks and 88 McFly wheels. The McFlys are a bit smaller and allow the board to be set up with loose trucks and makes it a super fun deck to skate, not just a racing LDP board.
RISERS? – Yes, this complete comes with the Pantheon risers. They can be removed without affecting performance. Why have risers? They lower your board. Pantheon risers are 3D printed in-house, and design them to conform to the drop-through concave on the decks! The effect of the riser will be to lower the platform of the deck by about 1/4-inch, or 6mm. This is like running your Trip with a 12mm smaller wheel in terms of ride height, so if you’re running the 92mm Karmas (standard), it will be like running the Trip on 80mm wheels in terms of ride height, but with all the benefits of the larger wheel. It’s a nice upgrade. Not necessary, but can be useful for riders really trying to maximize their efficiency. We include them, but they can be removed.
