The 2Hex truck system is a clone of the Carver C7 swing arm truck and it is just as good. We have been ripping around on this exact set up and it is amazing. There are some bad reviews on the 2Hex truck but you just have to tighten the spring underneath the truck to make the magic happen.

The deck is handmade in Switzerland. Super light, cork top for the magic barefoot experience or have it gripped and feel that plush standing platform.

This board is the smaller 28 inch surf scout. Plenty of foot room, super snappy, turns on a dime.

The trucks are the 2Hex surfskate trucks. There are two types of surfskate trucks: Swing arm and longboard style. The Carver C7 and 2Hex truck use a swing arm and are good for technical surf moves. If you want to simulate surfing, you want a swing arm truck. The downside is they are harder to push and are unstable at speed. 

Only a smaller riser has been used, and we have tested for wheelbite but best to check when you are on the board before surfskating.

The wheels are clear blue 62mm 3DM Seismic Cambria. This wheel was developed by slalom skaters for tight pumping. They grip, they stick and they perform like no other...plus the clear urethane, blue like a clear tropical ocean!!! The smaller wheels are faster for take off, get you going fast, can carver tighter and are super light.

Bearings are Seismic Tekton 6 ball bearings, they roll or days, less pushing, better performance.   

Overall, I think board is amazing, a lot cheaper than the Carver C7 version but no performance difference. 

And to answer a question that has been asked frequently. The cork surface is pressed in with epoxy resin during production. Since it absorbs some resin in the process, it is extremely durable and does not crumble.

This board can be gripped with black griptape.
