Prism Theory V2 downhill freeride deck

Version 2 of the Theory has an updated construction and a new graphic to keep you frothing.

Now constructed with two layers of prepreg fibreglass and an epoxy finish. Strengthens the board a bit more, and a tough finish for whatever you can throw at it. The extra fibreglass has added to the weight. The deck is now 2.2kg, while the earlier V1 version was 1.9kg.

The design of the Theory is genius. The micro drops at the front are really wheel flares, this gives the board it's drop feel. It also creates and amazing foot platform that is super comfortable and works for both freeride and downhill. Drops are perfect for your feet when tucking, but also gives you a locked in feel when going sideways.

The rocker goes from the front truck to the back truck. Stiffens the deck and allows Prism to create a stiffer deck with only 7 maple plies. To make sure your truck geometry does not change, there are flush truck mounts.

For a top mount downhill freeride board, this one ticks all the boxes but more importantly so so much fun to skate.

The difference between V1 and V2 are weight and the wheel well cut outs are slightly bigger. Drop, concave and wheelbase are all the same.
