This is the smaller version of the Linum: more agile for complex freestyle tricks.
Flex 1 will suit all skaters, but it is designed for skaters that weigh between 70kg and 100kg.
We have paired this deck with matt black 150 Paris V3 trucks, Blood Orange 60mm 82a Jammerz and Independent bearings.
The first thing you will notice is how light this board is, it is amazing. Your skating is going to improve immedaitely, tricks will be easier. The wheels are super light and made from the legendary Liam Morgam Formula. Slides and spin tricks will be effortless, and you have that bit of grip when you need to stick a trick. 60mm wheel is perfect for dance, and preferred by a lot of the top dance skaters. The 60mm gives you that fast take off speed, you can get going faster with a smaller wheel, which gives you time to set up for the trick.
Hopkin Skate has done a custom griptape job. We have gripped the nose and tail where you need it most but left the centre free of grip to make feet spins easier and to show the natural fibres of this deck. The construction is gorgeous.
The Linum is a light modern dancer deck with a lot of subtle features. It has a continuous progressive rocker which merges directly into the kicks. Thanks to the combination of cnc’d wheel wells and flares the board has an amazing wheel clearance.
The big innovation hides in the Naturalite construction. The mix of bamboo with a hollow core, carbon and natural flax fibers makes it super light.
Bottom of the deck shows off the the carbon and flax fibers. Previously this was hidden inside the board. The big feature of this deck is the advantage of a fiber reinforced board, like a longer life span and a snappy flex. But unlike glass fibers, flax fibers don’t chip when they get damaged. With the Linum, glass splinters in your fingers are a thing of the past.
