This reminds me of re-griping Landyachtz decks in the Hopshop. When you pull off the griptape you realise the short cuts they take on commercial cruiser decks. Commerical cruisers are all made in China or Mexico. They want you to think they are a Canadian manufacturer but they are are Canadian company that imports from overseas. Loaded do the same thing. When you remove the griptape you realise they have used a low quality ply for the top ply. This because the factory grips the decks, and the customer (thats you) will never see the top ply, so why use quality, chance to recycle some low quality ply. 

That is impossible with a Candy Spanks deck. Nothing is hidden, you can see the quality, deck comes ungripped. We can customise the ride for you. 

We have assembled this one using Paris V3 150 trucks in 50 degrees. Super turny, you can feel that rake in the truck, it moves quickly in a carve and feels lively.

Wheels are Seismic 3DM 62mm Cambria clear blue race wheel. Originally these wheels were for made for tight slalom skateboard racing. Sharp lipped, grippy wheel, but times have changed and Seismic has repurposed them into gorgeous cruiser wheels. The clear coloured urethane is amazing, like glacial ice. No one does better clear urethane than Seismic. Poured in America with proprietary urethane, it cost a little bit more, but the results are worth it.

Keeping the blue them we have used Tekton 7 ball blue shield bearings. If you want to swap for Zealous or Tekton 6 balls, let us know in the notes at checkout.

This board will be shipped assembled and ready to skate out of the box!

The Granicus is a custom made deck, crafted in one of America's last independent woodshops.

Design is a classic single kick deck. Similar to the Loaded Coyote. Single kick cruisers started in the 1970s, the classic one was SIMs. Landyachtz popularized them in the mid 2000s with the Dinghy but it was Australia company Penny that took them mainstream.  

We say in the Hopshop, it is the board that choose the skater. If you have been chose, be quick, we only have one.
