UB have been testing new puck formulas for over a year. Some of Australia'a fastest skaters have been involved in the testing, Shannon Tully has been using prototypes for a year and says they are the best puck he has ever used.
The goal was to made a more slippery formula for UB slide pucks. It was developed in partnership with the world champion Diego Poncelet, that’s why UB has called them “R”, because they are made for RACING, for people who are looking for precise and consistent slides on downhill skateboarding.

These pucks are focused on downhill skateboarding, made with the bestUHMW-PEyou can find, carved with CNC mill and assembled in the UB office in Madrid (Spain).
There are two parts to the puck. The UHMW slide puck and a foam riser. The two parts are bonded together and can not be removed.
